Forensic Intervention Services Clinician

We are looking for skilled Mental Health Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment. As a clinician, you will build on your existing experience and work within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model to deliver individualised services including comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and treatment programs.

This is an opportunity to challenge yourself and contribute to reducing re-offending and making the community safer. You will be working with people who have histories of violent and sexual offending and will play a vital role in their rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments including risk assessments
  • Conduct clinical interviews to determine appropriate treatment pathways
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based assessment tools
  • Provide individual and group sessions as part of treatment programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be registered as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses. You will also need to possess a current driver's license.
