Payroll Governance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Governance Specialist to join our team in a newly created role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all payments are made in accordance with relevant legislative requirements, identifying and consolidating payroll compliance risks and issues, and implementing process improvement strategies.
About the Role- Ensure all payments are made in accordance with Awards, Agreements, Company Policy and Procedures, FairWork, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and other relevant legislative requirements
- Identify and consolidate payroll compliance risks and issues across the organisation
- Implement process improvement strategies with current systems and processes, particularly across governance framework
- Maintain award data and ensure wages payments comply with EBA or awards
- Evaluate and resolve payroll-related discrepancies
- Plan and implement all payroll changes in relation to new and amended industrial instruments
- Extensive experience in payroll governance and compliance
- Strong technical knowledge of payroll systems and procedures
- Able to identify and implement process improvements
