About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a customer-focused role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of valued customers and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain long-term sustainable partnerships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Prompt attention to customer quote requests and purchase order management.
  • Respond to customer enquiries regarding bookings, new orders, status updates, billing, and transport.
  • Liaison with airlines, shipping lines, overseas partners, and other relevant parties to request rate and service information and booking control.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal departments to monitor shipment coordination and ensure timeframes are met.
  • Preparation and management of reports as per customer SOP's.
  • Problem solve, promptly resolving any issues as they arise.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will be a dynamic team player with the drive to succeed, able to work in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Solutions orientated with effective problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Cargowise preferred. Recent experience in import operations or customer service within a freight forwarding environment essential.
