Estimator Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for equipment installation projects. The ideal candidate will analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation to provide accurate and competitive estimates.

  • Analyze technical drawings and specifications to develop detailed material, labor, and equipment cost breakdowns.
  • Conduct site visits and gather information from stakeholders to ensure accuracy in cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and stakeholders to review and finalize estimates.
  • Develop options and recommend best value solutions based on cost, engineering, quality, or availability of materials.
  • Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate pricing to meet project requirements.
  • Prepare bid proposals, including detailed scope of work, cost estimates, and project timelines.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials pricing, and construction techniques to ensure accurate and up-to-date estimates.
  • Improve estimating processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
