Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of professionals within the advertising industry. As a Professional Development Program Manager, you will be responsible for promoting, administering, and delivering our professional development programs through the AdSchool, AWARD, and IPA brands.



Main Responsibilities

  • Program Delivery: Support the Professional Development Manager in boosting engagement and registrations for ACA's PD program, and assist with delivering courses both in-person and virtually.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the PDM to conduct program reviews/development, overhaul programs and confirm facilitator/speaker/tutor/participant resources.
  • Process Improvement: Assist with streamlining PD tools (Learn Portal/Content Hub) as well as scoping/rolling out of a new technology (LMS).
  • Internal Administration: Provide internal administration for ACA programs, including AdSchool, AWARD School, and IPA, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Course Promotion: Promote and sell courses to leads, members, and non-members with enthusiasm, driving engagement and achieving goals.
  • Communication: Support State Managers in weekly updates and coordinate sales efforts through calls, emails, and chasing payments.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate engaging AWARD School events, such as Info/Briefing Nights, Lectures, Mid-way Events, and Graduations, both in-person and online.
  • Platform Management: Manage the AWARD School submission, judging, and gallery platform (Award Force) from start to finish.
  • Community Engagement: Manage AWARD School Discord Channel for students and tutors to foster community engagement.
  • Data Management: Maintain course details, enrolments, and leads using training management software (Arlo), including database management and basic financial tracking.
  • Content Creation: Update website content (WordPress) and provide social media support to amplify our programs.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • 5+ Years Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience working in training, event, and project management roles.
  • LMS Experience: Experience with LMS programs / digitally savvy.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Customer Service Focus: Natural customer service focus, comfortable with responding to questions and providing advice both on the phone and via email.
  • Task Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: Initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team Player: Able to work without supervision but also a great team player.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexibly as some activity is delivered outside of normal business hours.


Desired Qualifications

While not essential, desired qualifications include:



  • Advertising or Industry Body: Advertising / Industry Body experience.
  • Digital Marketing: Digital marketing / social media experience.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge and experience in using Google Suite and WordPress.


Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
