Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Spring Professional. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all construction activities and manage the site team to ensure a smooth construction process.
  • Develop and maintain 2-3 week program look aheads to stay on track and identify potential issues.
  • Report construction progress to the Project Manager and stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and client representatives involved in the project to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Address any issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track, and prepare and submit regular progress reports to upper management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role, preferably in educational or commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Relevant Trade background is highly desirable.
