Associate To Support Judicial Operations

We are seeking to appoint an associate to provide high-level operational, administrative and technical legal support to a judge at the County Court of Victoria.
The County Court has original and appellate jurisdiction and is the principal trial court in Victoria. It hears over 12,000 criminal, common law and commercial matters each year.
About The Role- Provide operational, administrative and technical legal support to a judge in chambers and in court
- Work closely with another associate or tipstaff
- Manage case files, maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Conduct legal research and prepare written submissions as required
- Demonstrated legal ability and experience working in a judicial environment
- High level of attention to detail, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to exercise sound judgment and balance competing demands on time
