We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Associate to Judicial Registrar Pedley.
- The Supreme Court of Victoria is the highest court in Victoria, comprising the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division.
- The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, including appeals against decisions of lower courts.
About the Role:
- The Court of Appeal Registry is responsible for efficient case management of civil and criminal appeals to resolution.
- Judicial Registrar Mark Pedley seeks a motivated, flexible, and well-organized individual to assist him in his duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support, including proofreading, preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Assisting with legal research and case summaries.
- Maintaining court records and preparing materials for use by the Judicial Registrar.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Liaison role between the Court of Appeal Judges, their chambers, and the Registry.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
