About the RoleThe Clinical Director will be responsible for:
- Providing leadership and management of medical services in accordance with professional standards and ethics
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and healthcare services
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve healthcare goals
- Representing the hospital and health service in regional and national forums
Our hospital and health service is a leading provider of healthcare services in Northern Australia, serving a population of over 250,000 people. We operate 21 facilities, including 19 hospitals and health centres, and two residential aged care homes. Our team of over 6,600 staff is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A FACRMM (FACRRM) or FRACGP or be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
- Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA)
- Registered with AHPRA and at least 12 months recent experience as a Director of Medical Services
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
