Overview:
The Logistics and Inventory Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the efficient functioning of our operations by assisting with inventory control, receipt and dispatch of aircraft parts, tooling management, and logistics coordination.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for ensuring accurate record-keeping, managing tooling and equipment, and coordinating logistics activities.
Responsibilities:- Assist with inventory control and ensure accurate record-keeping through the use of automated systems or manual records.
- Support the receipt and dispatch of aircraft parts by verifying accuracy and completeness of documents and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Manage tooling and equipment by conducting routine inspections, reporting maintenance issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate logistics activities by planning and executing transportation arrangements, managing delivery schedules, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Completion of Year 10 (minimum) and eligibility to undertake a Certificate II/III traineeship.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn industry standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses.
- Current driver's licence (or ability to obtain).
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety principles in a supply chain environment.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or aviation support.
- Basic knowledge of aviation parts and tooling (advantageous but not required).
- Forklift Licence.
