Clinical Nurse Specialist – Aged Care

Clinical Nurse Specialists in aged care provide high-quality, compassionate support to older Australians and people living with a disability. They empower clients to remain living independently in their homes with dignity, safety, and confidence.

Delivering person-centred care across the Gold Coast South region, our Clinical Nurse Specialists work with a diverse range of clients, promoting health, independence, and quality of life. They conduct clinical assessments, wound care, medication administration, and continence management while supporting chronic disease and post-acute care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments for each client
  • Wound care, including debridement and dressing changes
  • Medication administration and dosing guidance
  • Health monitoring and reporting, ensuring up-to-date documentation
  • Support for clients with chronic diseases or post-acute care needs
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors and allied health professionals
  • Education and support for family members and caregivers

What We're Looking For

  • Current RN Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Previous community or aged care experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate, empathetic approach to client care
  • Reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Indemnity Insurance
