About the RoleThis rewarding position involves guiding and supporting a team of Residential Carers, working closely with the Residential Care Coordinator to ensure every day is filled with growth, stability, and positive development for the young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and well-being of young people in residential care homes
- Lead and support a team of Residential Carers to provide high-quality care and support
- Collaborate with the Residential Care Coordinator to develop and implement care plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including families and community members
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge
The successful candidate will have relevant bachelor's degree experience, including four additional mandatory competencies, or a relevant diploma with substantial experience and mandatory competencies. They will also have proven skills in developing behavioural management programs, supervising and leading teams, and participating collaboratively in teams.
