Job Title: Transport Planner

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Primary Connect +, a retailer-agnostic, technology-driven commercial business within Primary Connect. As a Transport Planner, you will play a critical role in planning and executing safe and cost-effective transport movements from Woolworths Suppliers into Woolworths DC sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute transport movements using our carrier network to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to Woolworths DC sites.
  • Support a seamless experience for our suppliers and customers by fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and 3PL carrier partners.
  • Monitor Chain of Responsibility (COR) compliance and ensure that our carriers and suppliers adhere to the necessary standards.
  • Perform daily transport planning activities for multiple lanes simultaneously in our Transport Management System (TMS).
Requirements:
  • Experience in the Retail/Transport/Logistics industry.
  • Proven ability to work in a target-driven environment with strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent systems and computer skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and a commitment to delivering quality results.
