Area Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Manager to join our team in Wagga Wagga. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for providing quality maintenance services and property support to key stakeholders and clients across the area.

This role involves managing a portfolio of sites, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard and compliant with current standards. You will work under limited supervision, managing Reactive & Preventative Maintenance, minor capital works of sites, and collaborating with Operations & Facilities Manager and Site Managers to review strategic asset management plans and prepare suitable programs.

  • Manage a portfolio of sites to ensure high-quality maintenance services
  • Provide property support to key stakeholders and clients
  • Manage Reactive & Preventative Maintenance, minor capital works of sites
  • Collaborate with Operations & Facilities Manager and Site Managers to review strategic asset management plans
  • Prepare suitable programs for site maintenance
  • Provide effective management and leadership to all staff

The ideal candidate will have a Building, Trade, Facilities Management degree, diploma, or certificate, with a minimum 3 years' experience in managing Preventative and Reactive Maintenance, as well as managing maintenance staff. Experience in budgeting processes and maintaining operational budgets is also essential.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in managing maintenance staff
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in hands-on property maintenance
  • Experience in budgeting processes and maintaining operational budgets
  • Experience managing property-related contracts and contractors
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 environment
  • Driver's license and commitment to traveling to sites as required
  • Understanding and alignment to BaptistCare's mission and values
