**Job Title:** Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder/fabricator to join our team at the Inverell Workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, repair and ensure efficient performance of council's fleet.
  • Carry out light and medium structure fabrication and related mechanical workshop tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade Certificate as Metal Fabricator or Fitter/Turner with welding experience.
  • SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card (White Card).
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary ranges from $1,349.60 to $1,453.46 gross per week.
  • Adverse Working Conditions Allowance where applicable.
  • Ordinary hours are Monday to Friday, not exceeding 12 hours per day or 76 hours per fortnight, with meal breaks as specified in the Award.
Other Information:
  • Employment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
  • Classification up to Technical/Trades Band 2, Level 2, Grade 10.
