Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and install new air conditioning technology within public high-rise tower dwellings across Victoria's fourteen precincts.
  2. Coordinate procurement processes and contract management for the High-Rise Cooling Program.
  3. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including Divisional officers, consultants, contractors, renters, external agencies, local government, and departmental staff.
  4. Deliver project outcomes through program management, planning, and scheduling.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet, and agency submissions on complex matters.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.

Requirements

This is an opportunity for an experienced construction Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of the High-Rise Cooling Program. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in all facets of construction project management, including coordinating procurement processes and contract management, providing authoritative advice, and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Candidates should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in construction project management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in contract management and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
