Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time role (average 38 hours per week) as a Land Development Inspection Officer – Subdivisions. The position involves inspecting subdivision civil engineering works to ensure compliance with construction, dust, noise and environmental management plans in accordance with relevant state and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of subdivision civil engineering works to ensure compliance with construction, dust, noise and environmental management plans in accordance with relevant state and local regulations.
  • Ensure works are constructed in accordance with approved plans and specifications to protect the interests of stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field (or demonstrated equivalent competency).
  • Completion of relevant asphalt and road construction training courses.
  • Experience and knowledge in a road inspection, maintenance or construction environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.
Requirements
  • Civil engineering qualification or demonstrated construction experience relevant to land development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials and techniques specific to the delivery of subdivision infrastructure, including earthworks, roads and drainage.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising subdivision civil works to ensure compliance with approved engineering drawings, technical specifications and statutory requirements.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to coordinate and liaise with stakeholders.
Benefits
  • Annual salary range of $99,138 - $106,623 per annum.
