Technical Services Specialist

About the RoleAs a Service Technician, you will provide technical support and services to a diverse client base. You will work on-site and in the office.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical service and support to diversified clients and project delivery teams.
- Carry out regular maintenance tasks, breakdown services, and commissioning as assigned by the Technical Manager.
- Work on smaller projects as a Control Systems specialist, including design (software & hardware), development, commissioning, and verification activities directed by the project manager and/or lead engineer.
- Gain knowledge of the diversity of engineering services provided by the company through working as a Service Technician.
- Offer IT services, including network configuration, server setup, desktop and workstation solutions to meet project and company needs.
- Participate in the rotational on-call roster.
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronic or a related discipline or trade background.
- Australian Driver's License and own motor vehicle.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
- Experience in designing, developing, and diagnosing PLC, RTU, HMI, SCADA, and network systems.
- Ability to interpret control system design documentation.
- Self-starter, committed to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage competing tasks and priorities.
- Sound verbal and written communication.
- Systematic approach to problem-solving.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with managers, staff, and clients.
