Job Title: Animal Management Officer

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team in the provision of animal management services.

  • To be successful in this role, you will undertake activities to meet the Council's animal management service responsibilities, provide efficient customer service by responding to enquiries and be willing to undertake activities related to animal control duties for the city.
  • You will also provide effective customer service by responding to animals at large and collecting dogs and cats, work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with customers and colleagues.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines to achieve targets.
