Aiding Adults with Disabilities

The successful candidate will provide specialist functional behavioural assessments to patients with a disability, including those who do not use speech to communicate and those with severe and profound disability.
Maintaining a caseload of NDIS clients is crucial in this role. Ensuring behaviour support reports and assessments are completed within specified time frames is also essential.
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures and standards impacting on the delivery of services to people with a disability.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological and behaviour support services to school-aged children, young people and adults with a disability
- Maintain a caseload of NDIS clients
- Ensure behaviour support reports/assessments are completed within specified time frames
- Plan, implement and evaluate services and service user engagement strategies
