Disability Support Position Available

This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a young adult with a disability. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting daily living tasks: cooking, cleaning, laundry, and personal care
  • Administering medication and following health plans
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging home environment
  • Encouraging communication, self-expression, and independence
  • Facilitating skill-building and goal-setting activities
  • Assisting with appointments, social activities, and outings
  • Documenting client progress, incidents, and daily notes
Requirements:
  • Experience in the disability sector (essential)
  • Experience supporting adults with disability and challenging behaviours (essential)
  • A proactive, resilient, and upbeat attitude
  • A gentle nature with excellent listening skills
  • NSW Driver's Licence
