We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Sandvik Group. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers
  • Validate invoices and ensure accurate documentation
  • Provide internal customers with cost-effective freight quotes and ensure efficient service based on demand
  • Maintain data integrity of freight management systems
  • Assist with carrier booking software issues and provide training as needed
  • Manage exceptions and deviations in shipping charges, failed deliveries, and missing or lost shipments
  • Prepare end-of-month reports

Requirements

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a logistics role
  • Experience in the mining sector and/or with Transport Management Systems is desirable
  • Strong eye for detail and knowledge of international and domestic operational freight procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with various teams
  • Knowledge of logistics and freight management systems
  • Ability to manage complex freight and shipping operations independently
