The Role

As a casual Residential Youth Worker, you will make a positive difference in the lives of at-risk young people who require out-of-home care.

Responsibilities
  • Establish a secure and nurturing home environment for at-risk young people
  • Offer guidance and support with personal care requirements including meal assistance and hygiene routines
  • Provide transportation for school, appointments, and community activities
  • Foster the development of skills and socialization within the local community
  • Support in the administration of medications and associated reporting requirements for children on Child Protection orders
  • Provide trauma-informed care to young people who display complex behavioural issues and traumatic backgrounds
