Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Aspire Energy Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and commissioning of renewable energy projects.

Aspire Energy is a fast-growing company with a strong presence across Australia. We specialize in delivering innovative renewable energy solutions, including utility-scale solar farms, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and electrical designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all electrical engineering aspects of solar farm, BESS projects, and electrical designs from concept design to commissioning.
  • Develop, review, and optimize electrical engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for project challenges.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on project progress and performance.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years in electrical engineering.
Technical Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP).
  • Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., Australian Standards, IEC, IEEE).
  • Familiarity with grid connection processes and renewable energy technologies.
