Transforming Facilities Management at Woolworths Group

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive our Facilities Management strategy across our national distribution centres. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional services, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

About the Role

The Head of Facilities Management will provide strategic direction, leadership, and operational management of all Distribution Centres nationally. This role requires a strong business acumen, strategic planning, and large-scale budget P&L experience. You will be responsible for creating and fostering an environment that puts the customer first, actively using stakeholder feedback to achieve our goal of being proactive, responsive, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a large team to deliver Facilities Management Services across the Distribution Centres Nationally
  • Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement, Innovation, and Outstanding Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet the changing needs of the business while managing a substantial operational budget and capital expenditure and asset lifecycle across the network
  • Drive and embed a Safety Culture, managing risk, site safety, legislative, and operational compliance

What You'll Bring

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar senior leadership role, ideally in a distribution centre, supply chain, manufacturing, or multi-site environment
  • Previous stakeholder management experience and ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and large-scale budget P&L experience
  • Proven coaching and leading transformational change and business initiatives across a geographically dispersed team
  • Understanding of compliance requirements with relevant acts, Australian Standards, and statutory provisions
