Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Facilities Management Director to lead our national distribution centre team. This is a strategic role that will provide direction, leadership, and operational management of all distribution centres nationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the national distribution centre team
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet the changing needs of the business while managing a substantial operational budget and capital expenditure
  • Drive and embed a Safety Culture, managing risk, site safety, legislative and operational compliance
  • Lead a large team to delivery Facilities Management Services across the Distribution Centres Nationally
  • Create & foster an environment that puts the Customer 1st and actively uses stakeholder feedback to achieve our goal of being Proactive, Responsive and Efficient.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar senior leadership role ideally in a distribution centre, supply chain, manufacturing, or multi-site environment
  • Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and large-scale budget P&L experience
  • Proven coaching and leading transformational change and business initiatives across a geographically dispersed team
  • Understanding of compliance requirements with relevant acts, Australian Standards and statutory provisions
  • Experience or knowledge of Automation as well as essential services, refrigeration, air conditioning, or electrical systems (highly regarded)
About You

You'll be a highly motivated and experienced leader with a strong track record in facilities management. You'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You'll also have a deep understanding of the importance of safety culture and be able to drive this agenda within the team.
