Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical systems and sub-systems for our EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in project design and delivery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop mechanical systems and sub-systems, including piping and equipment layouts;
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets functional and technical requirements;
    • Develop detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports;
    • Liaise with customers, contractors, and suppliers to clarify design requirements and resolve issues;
    • Support testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful project completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree qualification in mechanical or mechatronic engineering;
  • Senior / Principal level mechanical engineering experience with CPEng certification;
  • Experience in industrial, heavy industry, or power generation sectors;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong reporting writing skills;
  • Natural initiative and problem-solving abilities;
  • Driver's license;
  • International applicants must hold valid work rights for Australia.
