Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for championing the product vision, providing direction and support to the development team, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure the stability, compliance, and success of proposed product solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Product Vision and Strategy
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and report on the creation of new solutions and improvements to existing platforms.
- Ensure optimal and timely delivery of prioritized initiatives and changes in conjunction with technology and business stakeholders.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead and motivate the development team to deliver innovative and effective solutions with a sense of urgency.
- Work closely with business analysts, SMEs, and the development and testing teams to create clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure the development team understands the product backlog and business value.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Represent business stakeholders in maintaining system functionality and business logic.
- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to ensure a high level of communication and understanding.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies between backlog items and multiple stakeholders.
- Minimum 2 years of business analysis experience or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated project, time, and prioritization management skills.
- Experience leading teams in either a business or project context.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and management.
- Knowledge or experience in general insurance or financial services highly regarded.
