Residential Building Inspector Job

As a skilled Residential Building Inspector, you will conduct thorough on-site inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

About the Role
  • Perform comprehensive field inspections for residential properties to verify compliance with state and local building codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and other relevant documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to explain inspection findings and provide guidance on construction best practices.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct detailed field inspections to identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other industry professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
  3. Stay up-to-date with local building codes, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance during inspections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., construction management, architecture) or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Florida Standard Residential Inspector license (BN License) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information
