Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

A position has arisen for a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to work in our modern and well-equipped maintenance facility.

  • We require you to have a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Your main duties will include diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, assembling the fleet and ensuring safety and quality standards are followed at all times.
About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled mechanic to join our team and take on a range of responsibilities including:

  • Maintaining all company vehicles and assets in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines
  • Ensuring all maintenance work is performed according to company procedures
  • Attending breakdowns and carrying out any field-related mechanical repairs
  • Effectively and efficiently communicating any safety or maintenance issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles
  • Safety standards and company policies
  • A sound level of verbal and written communication
  • Experience in working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules
