Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled mechanical technician to join our service team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial part in keeping wind turbines running smoothly.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a skilled and enthusiastic mechanical technician who can work effectively in a small team environment. The successful applicant must hold a recognised Australian trade certificate and be able to read/interpret technical drawings to support fault-finding and/or maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake scheduled maintenance on wind turbines as required
  • Respond and attend site outside normal working hours to undertake reactive maintenance on a rostered basis
  • Maintain all company vehicles and equipment in good condition
  • Perform operations and maintenance within training and authorisation limits including HV and LV systems
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience with high-voltage and low-voltage systems, hydraulics, and mechanical systems in a residential, commercial, and/or industrial environment. They will also be proficient in the use of various hand tools and possess strong communication skills.

Australia trades certification is essential for this position.
