We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team in Melbourne.
This role involves ensuring the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction by supporting the maintenance and improvement of food safety and QA systems, leading quality investigations and corrective/preventative actions, and supporting training of staff in QA procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and improve existing food safety and QA systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead quality investigations and develop corrective/preventative actions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
- SUPPORT THE TRAINING OF STAFF IN QA PROCEDURES AND STANDARDS TO ENSURE CONTINUITY AND EFFECTIVENESS
- Participate in third-party audits and customer visits to demonstrate our commitment to quality
- Degree in Food Science or a related discipline is required for this role
- 3-5 years' experience in a QA role within food manufacturing, preferably with supervisory/leadership experience
- A solid understanding of HACCP and food quality systems is essential for this position
- Ability to work effectively across both systems and factory floor environments is crucial
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role
