Job Overview

The role of a Horticultural Site Manager is a critical position within our organization, responsible for the care and presentation of high-profile horticultural sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring safe and efficient task completion by team members.
  • Manage team workflows, planning and coordinating tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintain a professional image.
  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems, including programming and fault-finding.
  • Monitor plant and soil health, conducting testing and applying treatments as needed.
  • Assist with seasonal planting and minor design updates to maintain site appearance.
  • Identify and report site improvement opportunities or concerns.
  • Educate and train junior team members, providing guidance and support where needed.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens (Preferred)
  • Driver's Licence (Manual or Automatic)
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
