We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research initiative focused on developing an innovative GIS-based spatial decision-support tool for offshore renewable energy system deployment.

About the Project

The project aims to assist energy planners and system managers in making informed, visual, and data-driven decisions. This will be achieved by autonomously identifying optimal offshore locations for renewable energy system deployment using a cutting-edge research approach.

The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary research team affiliated with a relevant centre or institute. They will have opportunities to engage with industry leaders and CRC researchers, and access Griffith University's world-class facilities and research support.

The project is part of the Blue Economy Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) program and will involve collaboration with leading industry partners including CSIRO, Pitt & Sherry, and other prominent organizations.
