Exciting Opportunity in Blow Moulding

We are seeking a skilled and experienced blow moulding technician to join our dynamic team.

**Job Description:**

To be successful in this role, you will perform machine start-ups and shut-downs with efficiency. Prepare, install, set and operate blow moulding equipment as required.

You will participate in changeovers, troubleshoot and monitor stretch blow moulding machines and auxiliary equipment. Competently perform mould changes and understand insert changes.

Key responsibilities include proposing and participating in maintenance for manufacturing equipment used in production processes. Optimize machine parameters for production runs and troubleshoot/preventatively maintain equipment.

You will also propose and participate in repairs and rebuilds for spare parts. Mentor junior staff to grow their skills and respond quickly to breakdowns to ensure uninterrupted operations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a technician in injection or stretch blow moulding manufacturing operations. Expert knowledge of Husky, Sidel, Krones or similar blow moulding equipment is essential.

Additionally, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical expertise with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills is required. Proven capability and knowledge of process control is necessary.

Strong desire to be part of a high-performing team, excellent understanding of polymer materials and experience with engineering polymers are desirable. Passion for excellence and continuous improvement, strong attention to detail and self-motivation/initiative are required.
