About the Opportunity

We have several permanent part-time positions available for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons in Surgical and Peri-operative Services. The role involves providing clinical services, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and participating in research. In addition to these responsibilities, the position requires involvement in an after-hours on-call roster.

About You

  • You will collaborate with the Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to ensure appropriate clinical management of patients, including developing and participating in audits, efficient use of operating theatres, outpatient clinic coordination, patient reviews, and adherence to clinical pathways and guidelines.
  • As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality clinical care to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery patients.
  • You will lead clinical and service improvement activities, encouraging evaluation and innovative treatments to improve service outcomes.
  • You will perform a range of elective, semi-elective, and emergency surgeries on Plastic Surgery patients.
