An opportunity has arisen for a **Lubrication Technician** to join the Opal Rocklea plant reporting to the Engineering Manager. This is a Day Shift position based at our Rocklea site in Queensland. Shift commences at 6am to 2pm with additional 15min handover. The role does require some weekend overtime to be performed. Afternoon and Night shifts may be required with reasonable notice given.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Lubrication of converting machines / lines during TPM and machine down time.
- Hydraulic powerpack top-ups & filter changes.
- Inspect hydraulic systems, document, and change leaking hoses/fittings.
- Log cylinder and motor leaks.
- Review, update and maintain lubrication maps for each machine / line.
- Filter replacement on electrical cabinet AC units.
- Lubrication of Minda - Unitizers, scrap fans, and scrap conveyors.
- Where required check vibration of motors and bearings with handheld vibration tester, and ability to analyse the results.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with manufacturing workplace, health and safety policies and practices.

- Fitter trade qualifications preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification in lubrication technology preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- EWP license preferred.
- Confined Space worker preferred.
- Forklift license preferred.
