Occupational Health Advisor
DescriptionThe Suburban Rail Loop Authority is planning an integrated transport infrastructure project that will deliver a 90km rail line connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services, and each other.
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to provide expert advice on occupational health and injury management to our staff and managers.
The role involves providing coaching, interpreting medical reports, discussing clinical details with treating health practitioners, serving as the primary relationship holder with Workcover Case Managers and early intervention clinicians, and overseeing administrative functions to meet return-to-work obligations.
This role requires allied health expertise, experience in managing work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses, ability to interpret medical reports, and capability to support fitness-for-work determinations and reasonable workplace adjustments.
We are looking for someone who can contribute to procedure writing, reviews, and initiatives to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses, partnering with our business to apply health and wellbeing knowledge in these areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert occupational health and injury management advice to staff and managers
- Support health and safety operations, fitness-for-work compliance, and return-to-work processes
