Job Description

This role requires a highly skilled Principal Occupational Health and Safety Expert with extensive knowledge of safety management systems to provide strategic and technical advice to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking various WHS-related investigations, assessments, audits, data analysis, reporting, and end-to-end project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive support and advice to clients through clear and practical communication.
  • Undertaking WHS-related investigations, assessments, audits, data analysis, reporting, and end-to-end project management.
  • Leading HSE initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust safety practices.
  • Traveling interstate or to a site at short notice or as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or higher, along with a broad knowledge of relevant legislation relating to WHS and in-depth knowledge and practical experience working with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.

A strong understanding and capability in hazard identification, risk assessment, and controls is also essential. Auditing qualifications are highly desirable, as is incident/non-conformance investigation experience.
