Employment Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate employment support consultant to fill a key role in our organisation.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, providing workplace support and facilitating long-term sustainable employment.

The successful candidate will require a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities when commencing new employment, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with both customers and employers.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing support for customers/employers based on individual needs
  • Enhance long-term and sustainable employment outcomes
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities with customers and employers
  • Create or generate new employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities

About You:

  • A people person with exceptional communication skills
  • Sales/customer service background an advantage
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with customers and employers
  • Disability or DES experience beneficial
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Conflict resolution
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Effective time management
  • Awareness of vulnerabilities to employment
