About the Role

As a Personal Support Worker at Spinal Life Australia, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with acquired spinal cord injuries in their homes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care, including transfers, grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, household duties, and laundry
  • Supporting clients with community access, including driving to appointments and social activities
  • Working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care

About You

We are seeking individuals who:

  • Are compassionate, empathetic, and excellent communicators
  • Can work a fixed fortnightly roster, including morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts
  • Hold a current driver's license and have a reliable vehicle
  • Hold, or are willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
  • Have experience in the field, or hold relevant qualifications
