About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Procurement Professional to join our team in the Hunter Class Frigates Program. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in establishing and managing contracting arrangements with suppliers to deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project objectives
- Lead supplier evaluation and sourcing recommendations to ensure best value for money
- Negotiate supplier agreements, subcontracts, and purchase orders to achieve cost, schedule, quality, and safety requirements
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Facilitating commercial subcontract meetings and attending operational subcontract meetings within an Integrated Project Team
- Conducting all subcontract-related matters, including progress claims
- Providing expert advice on procurement practices and policies to support business growth and development
