Job Title: Category Specialist

This role is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional to play a key part in the development and execution of strategic plans to source goods and services.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and project management skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

A degree in Commerce, Finance, Procurement or a related field is highly desirable along with experience in a similar environment. Strong numerical, analytical and multitasking skills are also essential. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities are required. Ability to work independently and collaboratively is a must. Full Australian working rights are necessary for this position. 

About The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Tendering, contract negotiations, and documentation for all projects.
  • Manage vendor compliance and performance.
  • Lead smaller procurement projects from start to finish.
  • Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
