Executive VFX Producer Role

This senior position oversees the entire visual effects production process.

As a mentor, you will guide producers of all levels, particularly junior and associate producers, to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Collaborate with the global New Business team on projects in early stages as needed to support show awards.
  • Oversee newly awarded projects without an assigned producer.
  • Work with the Head of Production to assign new shows to the right producer.
  • Hand over new projects to assigned producers with detailed briefs and overviews.
  • Monitor creative and financial progress of shows with junior or associate producers, reporting findings to the Head of Production.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of experienced producers to maintain production efficiency and offer guidance when necessary.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the Head of Production to discuss project status and upcoming projects.
  • Maintain studio/client relationships and serve as a point of escalation for any issues on shows.
  • Work closely with Production Accounts to track financial health and provide detailed reporting.
  • Step into projects as a producer when needed to cover for absences.
  • Assist CPM with production training as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a high-end feature film VFX producer.
  • Proven project management skills, including scheduling and budgeting.
  • Experience bidding and winning work.
  • Able to oversee multiple VFX shows.
  • Proven leadership experience managing production teams under pressure and during fast-paced show delivery times.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of Shotgun software.
  • Knowledge of MS Project.
