About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Driver Trainer to join our team. As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for training and coaching drivers in the yard and on the road.

The key responsibilities of this role include conducting assessments and interviews, supporting inductions and observations, performing drug and alcohol testing, coupling checks, and site inspections. You will also complete regular reviews of driver performance and travel occasionally to support other locations.

Key qualifications for this position include a valid MC licence with at least 5 years' experience driving heavy vehicles, strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements, experience with supermarket deliveries, including rear and finger docks, and hands-on coaching skills. A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is highly desirable but not required upfront – we will support you to complete it within your first six months.
