Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Bogger Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering ore to the mill, contributing to a high-performing team in a fast-paced underground environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion safety by following procedures and setting the standard for others.
  • Tackle a variety of tasks based on priorities set by the Development Shift Supervisor.
  • Take ownership of health, safety, and security, identifying risks and promoting a safety-first culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience in a similar underground mining role, with a strong background in safety and health protocols. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role

This is a residential role based in the Parkes local area, working a balanced 7-on, 7-off roster with 12-hour shifts. The current sub-level cave offers a solid 10-year mine life, including five years of development mining. Following this, there is a pipeline of future projects that will extend operations for another decade.
