About the Role

Mine technicians play a pivotal part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of underground mining processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Underground Inspections: Verify mine safety and efficiency during inspections.
  • Manage Quality Control Data: Ensure accurate and reliable information through data management.
  • Maintain Seismic Monitoring Systems: Expand and maintain seismic monitoring systems to ensure mine stability.

As a Mine Technician, you will collaborate closely with the geotechnical engineering team to deliver high-quality data supporting informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in underground mining or instrumentation is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Manual Driver's License: Possess a valid manual driver's license and Working at Heights ticket (or willingness to obtain).
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and confidence using mobile apps for data entry.
