About the Role

The Busy Group is seeking a highly skilled Career Development Mentor to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a critical role in engaging with Australian Apprentices and Employers to improve retention rates.

This full-time, fixed-term position for 2 years offers a hybrid working arrangement based in Parramatta. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide guidance, support, and coaching to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with employers and apprentices to address challenges and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct formal and informal sessions to foster positive relationships and achieve desired results.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve issues affecting apprenticeship success.

Your Qualifications
  • A degree in social work, counselling, or psychology;
  • Formal studies in coaching or mentoring;
  • A willingness to undertake a Diploma of Counselling or similar within the first year of employment;
  • Experience in social sciences, behavioural sciences, youth work, or community development and services;
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with diverse groups and individuals;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
