About the Role

The Career Development Coach will play a vital role in supporting Australian Apprentices and Employers to achieve their goals.

As a key member of our team, you will engage with apprentices and employers to provide guidance, support, and resources to improve retention rates. Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 2 years with the possibility of extension, based in Parramatta. You will have a hybrid working arrangement that allows for flexibility and work-life balance.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with qualifications or currently studying social work, counselling, or psychology. You should have formal studies in coaching or mentoring and be able to obtain a Working With Children Check/Blue Card and National Police Check.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualifications or currently studying either social work, counselling or psychology;
  • Formal studies in the area of coaching or mentoring;
  • Experience in leading, motivating and communicating with a broad range of groups and individuals;
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills - ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, gain their confidence and build a sense of mutual understanding of needs and objectives;
