**Job Title: Business Development Professional**
Overview of the Role:
Menulog is seeking a highly skilled and experienced business development professional to drive growth in the grocery, convenience, and retail verticals. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, identifying key accounts, and negotiating favourable commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to grow Menulog's retail business in Australia and New Zealand.
2. Account Management:
Identify and prioritise key accounts, develop relationships with decision-makers, and negotiate favourable commercial outcomes.
3. Performance Optimisation:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective joint business plans, provide category-specific recommendations, and lead contract negotiations.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, communicate sales strategies, and create compelling business cases for strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of sales experience, including at a national sales manager level.
2. A track record of successfully working with tier one partners (e.g., Woolworth Group, Endeavour Group, Chemist Warehouse, Petbarn etc.).
3. Retail quick commerce experience is a bonus.
4. Key attributes: driven, self-motivated, resilient, result-oriented, entrepreneurial, resourceful, flexible, passionate, and professional.
5. Tertiary degree qualification in a relevant field (Business / Marketing) preferred.
